Thank you for supporting eNVision Performing Arts! I write to you with a heavy heart because eNVision has fallen on some hard times. Without warning, policies have changed that will prevent eNVision from borrowing the mallet percussion equipment we have been using for the past 3 years. In addition, we have been left without a place to call home and rehearse. Finally, we have no means of transportation for our equipment to the many community functions we are a part of each year.

Without the mallet percussion equipment (1 xylophone, 2 vibraphones, 3 marimbas), eNVision will no longer be able to keep the doors open and offer our unique opportunities to Nevada???s youth. We have been fundraising towards the $30,000 needed to purchase this equipment for nine weeks now and have raised a little over $11,000! This is a huge amount and we are very thankful for our generous contributors and for the fundraising opportunities we have been able to utilize. To sum it up, we need $13,000 in the next four weeks or we will be forced to close our doors for good. We will then work towards the remaining $6,000 by March of 2012. This money is strictly to purchase equipment that will last for over 10 years and offer hundreds of youth the chance to strive for excellence and learn the life and performance skills that eNVision teaches.

Finding a permanent rehearsal facility for us to call home and trailers to transport equipment are less of a priority at this point (without equipment, we don???t need either). Fortunately we have already fundraised enough to purchase a full drumline battery (8 snares, 4 tenors and 6 basses that include carriers, stands and cases), all our own cymbals and gongs and our own pro-audio system. The purchase of the mallet percussion will be the final step to ensure that eNVision is performing in our community and competing nationally for decades to come. We need help and the time is now!

Currently eNVision hosts the local competition circuit for this activity. We bring in professionals from around the country to adjudicate and rank the local schools at these exciting competitions. The directors, staff and kids receive the quality feedback necessary to grow and strive for excellence. We then take these adjudicators to the schools for one-on-one clinics so the groups can get more personal feedback.

Since inception, most of the local schools now have knowledgeable percussion and guard coaches that have come through the eNVision program and are now giving back to their roots. Our staff and members are now in demand to give clinics in other states because of how respected the program has become.

We have seen the start of youth moving to the Reno/Sparks area for college so they can participate with eNVision while furthering their education.

eNVision has performed at over 60 local events including charitable fundraisers, sporting events, corporate meetings, grand openings and parades. We are in high demand as an entertainment drumline. In July we put on a performance clinic at a local middle school and stressed RESPECT. The eNVision members talked about how they respect each other in rehearsal (treat others how you would like to be treated, show up prepared and on time), respect other ensembles in competition (support everyone???s effort), and how to apply that to everyday life. It was amazing to see the pure excitement and joy we gave to that entire school.

We have also put Reno on the map for our activity. We have traveled across the country to the World Championships and are nationally ranked as a top ten ensemble. In April we were voted the nations favorite drumline (by the fans)!

This is a VERY elite organization and it would be a shame for Reno to lose such an asset to the community. Please invest in our youth. If you or someone you know can contribute or has a fundraising/performance opportunity for eNVision, please visit our website:

We promise that if you decide to commit to this organization, we will find the best position in the group for you to shine!  We will have an informational meeting at 11am that covers the tuition and costs associated with the season, fundraising opportunities to help cover tuition, the schedule for the season and the expectations for the group followed by our rehearsal/clinic.  The least you can expect from the day is improvement to your musical talent and performance abilities!

You must attend the workshop to have the best possible chance at your desired spot!
